Mrs Farziyeva Saadat Ibrahim was born in Sumgait in 1971. In 1989 she graduated from piano department of Sumgait city music school named after Soltan Hajibeyov.
Initially, she worked as a pedagogue, then as a head of piano department at the Bulbul School of Art in Sumgait City. During her career in Bulbul School Saadat successfully performed in many state events and concerts. She also participated in several state song contests and gained great success by taking special place in “composer’s creativity” contests. She is known as the author of numerous children’s songs and plays for piano.
In 1998 Saadat graduated from the piano department of the Baku Music Academy. In 2005 she started her dissertation on the topic of ‘’Songs – Dance ‘’Halay’’ in the Talysh Folklore of Southern Azerbaijan’’ in Baku Music Academy. In 2010 she received the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) on Study of Art and Culture. In 2011 she was appointed as a senior academician at the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyov. In 2016 the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of Azerbaijan awarded her a certificate of assistant professor.
In 2016 Saadat moved to London. Since then, she works as a music teacher, teaching piano, theory of music, solfeggio, singing, and language development. She works with children of different ages and using her own methodology that helps so many students in gaining outstanding results during exams. Last but not least she is the author and composer of many children’s songs and several teaching aids.

Mr Rasim Farziyev was born in 1968 in the city of Sumgait, Azerbaijan. His talent in music was discovered in 1977 when he entered the kamancha class in the Gara Garayev Music School, where he learned the secrets of this beautiful instrument that belongs to the group of folk instruments. Later he graduated from distinguished music college named after Soltan Hajibeyov in Sumgait.
Rasim Farziyev participated in many competitions across Azerbaijan and won first places. Music performed in various genres increased his interest in stringed instruments. Later he began to play violin as well as kamancha. His in-depth knowledge of these two instruments brought him great success in his career. He played in JANGI Azerbaijan state ensemble , KOROGLU ensemble and in several different ensembles in Turkey. Along with solo performance, he introduced himself as a high-level accompanist, accompanying famous singers in Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Rasim Farziyev’s teaching career began at a very young age. The students he trained have taken their rightful places in the field of music. Since 2016 Rasim Farziyev has been performing and teaching music in the UK. In his classes in London, he uses a new method that combines the essentials of the British, Russian and Azerbaijan’s education system. This approach already resulted in high achievements and high grades amongst his students. Rasim Farziyev actively participates in events organized by the Azerbaijani Embassy and the Azerbaijani Diaspora in the UK .
